Hi! I'm Jay Hogan (he/him), a 27-year-old trans man from Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm freelance writer and Buzzfeed contributor, and I've written six listicles for Buzzfeed Books. I spend a lot of time reading and reviewing advanced reader's copies of novels for sites like NetGalley and Edelweiss, and as of April 25th, 2022, I've shelved 287 LGBTQ+ books on Goodreads. I'm very passionate about promoting queer books and getting them into the hands of the people who need them, and can usually be found with my nose in a book, a cat in my lap, or an iced coffee in my hands.
